The two-wheeler division of the Indian automaker TVS has launched the 2026 Apache RTR 160 4V in the country with a revised feature list and expanded variant lineup. The 2026 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V has been launched in India in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 1.25 lakh to Rs 1.37 lakh. Sharing this update TVS stated that this updated motorcycle is now available on sale at dealerships across India.

The 2026 model year Apache RTR 160 4V continues to be positioned in the 160cc segment and with this latest update the automaker is looking to enhance the appeal of this motorcycle with key hardware and rider aids across variants.
2026 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: Variants
The entry-level variant retains telescopic front suspension and single-channel ABS, and is offered in Matte Black and Racing Red.
The mid variant adds upside-down front forks, dual-channel ABS, and adjustable levers. Colour options include Matte Black, Granite Grey, and Pearl White.
The top variant continues with USD forks and adjustable levers, while adding traction control and the TFT display. It is available in Matte Black, Racing Red, and Marine Blue.
The 2026 Apache RTR 160 4V is available in three variants:

2026 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: Features
With this update, TVS has standardised several features across the range. A Class-D projector headlamp with LED DRLs and a full LED lighting setup, including LED turn indicators, is now offered across variants.
The assist and slipper clutch has also been made available beyond the top trim, aimed at improving clutch operation and control during downshifts.
The top-spec variant continues with a 5-inch TFT display integrated with SmartXonnect connectivity, supporting turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts. Lower variants use a digital LCD console.
2026 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V: Powertrain
Mechanically, there are no changes, the motorcycle continues with a 159.7 cc engine producing around 17.30bhp, paired with a five-speed gearbox. It continues to get three riding modes - Sport, Urban and Rain.
The Apache RTR 160 4V continues with a double cradle chassis, supported by telescopic or USD front forks depending on the variant, and a rear monoshock. Other elements include radial tyres and a hydroformed handlebar.
