Mahindra Reports Over 25 Percent Growth in Monthly Car Sales for March 2026

As we enter a new financial year, Mahindra has shared its passenger vehicle sales data for March 2026. The data shared by the Indian automaker highlights that Mahindra sold over sixty two thousand units of passenger vehicles last month.

In March 2026 Mahindra managed to sell a total of 62,109 units of passenger vehicles (including PVs sold domestically plus exports from India). This sales figure indicates a growth in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 11,274 units which further translates into 22.17 percent rise in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales. In March 2025 Mahindra posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 50,835 units.

Last month Mahindra sold 60,272 units of passenger vehicles in the Indian domestic market. This sales figure marks a rise in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 12,224 units which further translates into 25.22 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In March 2025 Mahindra posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 48,048 units.

In March 2026 Mahindra exported 1,837 units of passenger vehicles from India. This marks a year-on-year decline in monthly passenger vehicle exports by 950 units which further translates into a 34.08 percent year-on-year fall in monthly passenger vehicle exports. In March 2026 Mahindra exported 2,787 units of passenger vehicles.

Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., “The Financial year ended on a very positive note, with Mahindra clocking its highest-ever volumes in both SUVs & LCVs (<3.5T) segments, a significant milestone for the company. In March, we achieved SUV sales of 60,272 units, a growth of 25% and LCV <3.5T sales of 24,928 units, a growth of 11% YoY. Total vehicle sales stood at 99,969 units, a 21% YoY growth”
