Denza India Debut on November 13: D9 MPV and Z9 GT Expected

BYD is preparing to enter India’s luxury car market with its premium brand Denza. The Chinese automaker will officially introduce Denza in India on November 13, 2026, along with details of its upcoming products and retail strategy. The brand is expected to focus on premium electric vehicles, with the Denza D9 luxury MPV likely to be among its first offerings.

The Denza D9 is expected to be priced between Rs 85 lakh and Rs 90 lakh, positioning it against premium people carriers such as the MG M9, Kia Carnival, Toyota Vellfire and Lexus LM. The Mercedes-Benz V-Class is another model in this segment.

The Denza D9 is expected to be a key part of BYD’s first luxury push in India. The premium MPV is designed for buyers seeking a spacious cabin and a more luxurious travel experience.
