Hyundai India Witnesses Marginal Growth in Car Sales for December 2025

The Indian division of the South Korean automaker Hyundai has shared its car sales data for December 2025. Sharing these details, Hyundai revealed that it has experienced marginal growth in sales last month. Despite the GST push the growth in total sales and exports remains in single digit, while the sales growth in the domestic market is under one percent. In December 2025 Hyundai sold over fifty eight thousand units of passenger vehicles in the Indian market.

Last month Hyundai managed to sell a total of 58,702 units of passenger vehicles (including PVs sold domestically plus exports from India). This sales figure represents a rise in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 3,624 units which further translates into a 6.57 percent growth in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales. In December 2024 Hyundai posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 55,708 units.

In December 2025 Hyundai managed to sell 42,416 units of passenger vehicles domestically in the Indian market. This sales figure represents an year-on-year increase in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 208 units which further translates into a 0.49 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In December 2024 Hyundai posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 42,208 units.

Last month Hyundai exported 16,286 units of passenger vehicles from India. This represents an year-on-year increase in monthly passenger vehicle exports by 3,416 units which further translates into a 26.54 percent year-on-year growth in monthly passenger vehicle exports. In December 2024 Hyundai exported 12,870 units of passenger vehicles.
