The details shared by the automaker outlines that the leasing plan rolled out by Isuzu is being offered with a starting monthly rental of Rs 38,999 for a period of four years. Isuzu has stated that the package comes with zero down payment and includes registration, insurance and scheduled service costs within the monthly rental amount. With the addition of the leasing option, Isuzu is expanding the ownership choices for buyers in the commercial pickup segment, particularly those looking to manage fleet costs with fixed monthly outgo.
Looking at the larger picture here, Isuzu is targeting businesses that want to reduce the initial acquisition cost while keeping monthly operating expenses predictable with this leasing model. With this update the automaker also claimed that customers can save up to Rs 1.81 lakh compared to a conventional finance route.
The leasing model also removes concerns related to resale value and long-term depreciation, something that can be relevant for commercial vehicle owners operating large fleets or multiple business vehicles.
Mechanically, the Isuzu D-Max S-Cab remains unchanged and continues with the 2.5L diesel engine mated to a 5-speed MT. Being a commercial pickup this model is built on a high-tensile steel frame and gets a heavy-duty suspension setup designed for load-carrying duties.
On the inside the cabin of the D-Max S-Cab comes equipped with a 6-way adjustable driver seat, air conditioning with dust and pollen filter, multiple storage spaces and a MID.
Rajesh Mittal, Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India, said, “ISUZU has built a strong global reputation for delivering reliable, durable, and efficient commercial vehicles that support businesses across diverse markets worldwide. As a trusted global brand, we continue to strengthen our presence in India, which remains a highly important market for us. With the introduction of the leasing option, we aim to make ISUZU commercial vehicles, known for its Japanese quality and durability, more accessible and financially efficient for entrepreneurs”
