Jawa 42 Updated in India With Ivory Colour Option, Priced at Rs 1.85 lakh
Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has added a new Ivory colour option to the Jawa 42 line-up. The new shade joins the existing colour range of the motorcycle, which has been positioned in the neo-classic segment since its launch in 2018.
The Ivory finish features retro-style graphics and the ‘42’ branding on the fuel tank, side panels and rear fender. The motorcycle also carries chequered flag-inspired decals and classic badging elements.
Design and styling details
The Jawa 42 Ivory continues with the brand’s teardrop-shaped fuel tank and offset instrument console. The side panels receive a revised design with the ‘42’ marking in contrasting colour. The overall styling follows a retro theme combined with modern components. According to the company, the colour choice reflects global design trends that are shifting towards softer and neutral shades for 2026.
Engine and performance
The Jawa 42 Ivory is powered by a 294cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder J-Panther engine that produces 26.9bhp and 26.84Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle is equipped with an assist and slipper clutch. It also features tuned suspension for Indian road conditions, along with braking hardware similar to other variants in the range.
Price and availability
The Jawa 42 Ivory is priced at Rs 1,84,950 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). It is available across more than 450 authorised dealerships of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles in India.
Ownership programme
The motorcycle is offered with a 4-year or 50,000 km standard warranty. Buyers can opt for extended warranty coverage of up to six years. The company also provides roadside assistance for up to eight years and annual maintenance contract options for up to five years, depending on the plan selected.
