Kia Carens Clavis HTE(EX) Variant Launched in India With Sunroof at Rs 12.54 Lakh

The Indian division of the South Korean automaker Kia has expanded the Carens Clavis (ICE) lineup in the country with the launch of the new HTE(EX) variant. The newly introduced trim is priced from Rs 12.54 lakh (ex-showroom) and is positioned above the existing HTE(O) and HTE variants. With this update, the Carens Clavis lineup now offers additional comfort and convenience features across all internal combustion engine powertrains.

The Kia Carens Clavis HTE(EX) is available exclusively with a seven-seat setup and is offered with all three engine options. Prices start at Rs 12.54 lakh for the 1.5L naturally aspirated (NA) petrol variant, Rs 13.41 lakh for the 1.5L turbo-petrol version and Rs 14.52 lakh for the 1.5L diesel variant (all prices are ex-showroom).

The most notable addition on the Kia Carens Clavis HTE(EX) variant is the introduction of a skylight electric sunroof. The Carens Clavis with the 1.5L NA petrol powertrain is being offered with the sunroof for the first time in India. Kia has stated that this feature has been introduced in response to customer feedback and evolving market preferences.

In addition to the sunroof this new variant is also equipped with fully automatic temperature control, LED DRLs and position lamps, LED cabin lamps and an auto up/down power window for the driver side.
