Kia India Registers Over 108 Percent Growth in Sales for December 2025

The Indian division of the South Korean automaker Kia has shared its passenger vehicle sales data for December and Calendar Year (CY) 2025. The sales data shared by Kia India highlights that the company has recorded a strong double digit growth in CY25 sales and a triple digit growth in domestic car sales in December 2025. Last month Kia sold over eighteen thousand passenger vehicles in the Indian market.

In December 2025, Kia India managed to sell 18,659 units of passenger vehicles in the Indian market. This indicates a rise in year-on-year monthly car sales by 9,702 units. This sales figure represents a growth in year-on-year monthly car sales for Kia in the Indian market by 108.31 percent. In December 2024 Kia had sold 8,957 units of passenger vehicles in the domestic market.

In CY25 Kia India managed to sell 2,80,286 units of passenger vehicles. This indicates an increase in annual car sales by 35,286 units. This sales figure represents Kia’s growth in annual car sales in the Indian market by 14.40 percent. In CY24 Kia had sold 2,45,00 units of passenger vehicles in the country.

Kia India also kicked off 2026 with the launch of the new-generation Seltos SUV on January 2nd with a starting ex-showroom price tag of Rs 10.99 lakh. The new-gen Seltos goes up against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Tata Sierra, Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate and other compact SUVs in the Indian market.
