Kia India Records Over 41 Percent Growth in Car Sales for September 2026

Kia India reported a record monthly sales figure of 32,017 passenger vehicles in September 2026, reflecting a significant year-on-year increase of 41.04 percent. Kia also revealed its year-to-date sales for 2026, which stood at 2,53,008 units.

Kia India Records Over 41 Percent Growth in Car Sales for September 2026

The Indian division of the South Korean automaker Kia has shared its year-to-date (YTD) passenger vehicle sales data for 2026 and monthly sales data for last month. The sales data shared by the automaker outlines that Kia has achieved its best ever monthly sales in September 2026 driven by a strong demand for products like Seltos and Sonet, which have consistently racked up numbers of 10,000 units each every month in 2026. Kia India also reported a strong demand for products like Carens, Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV. Last month Kia India managed to sell over thirty two thousand units of passenger vehicles in the Indian market.

Kia India Car Sales: September 2026

In September 2026 Kia India managed to sell a total of 32,017 units of passenger vehicles in the Indian domestic market. This sales figure marks a year-on-year increase in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 9,317 units which further translates into 41.04 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In September 2025 Kia India posted domestic passenger vehicle sales of 22,700 units.

Kia India YTD Car Sales: 2026

Kia India has reported YTD passenger vehicle sales of 2,53,008 units in the Indian market this year. This sales figure marks a rise in YTD passenger vehicles sales by 46,426 units which further translates into 22.47 percent growth in YTD passenger vehicle sales for this period. In 2025 Kia India’s cumulative YTD passenger vehicle sales for this period stood at 2,06,582 units.
