Maruti Suzuki Posts Over 36 Percent Growth in Car Sales for September 2026

Maruti Suzuki has shared its passenger vehicle sales data for September 2026. The sales details shared by the company outlines that the automaker continues to lead the monthly car sales in the country for last month. Maruti Suzuki has revealed that it managed to sell over 1.81 lakh units of passenger vehicles in the country in September 2026.

In September 2026 Maruti Suzuki managed to sell a total of 2,26,057 units of passenger vehicles (domestic + exports). This sales figure marks a rise in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 51,033 units which further translates into a 29.15 percent growth in total year-on-year monthly passenger vehicle sales. In September 2025 Maruti Suzuki posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 1,75,024 units.

Last month Maruti Suzuki managed to sell 1,81,838 units of passenger vehicles domestically in the Indian market. This sales figure indicates a year-on-year increase in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 49,018 units which further translates into a 36.90 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In September 2025 Maruti Suzuki posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 1,32,820 units.

In September 2026 Maruti Suzuki exported 44,219 units of passenger vehicles from India. This export figure marks a year-on-year rise in monthly passenger vehicle exports by 2,015 units which further translates into a 4.77 percent growth in year-on-year monthly passenger vehicle exports. In September 2025 Maruti Suzuki exported 42,204 units of passenger vehicles from India.
