Lamborghini is getting ready to unveil the more extreme version of its flagship hybrid supercar. Ahead of its world debut at Monterey Car Week on August 14, the Italian carmaker has teased the upcoming Revuelto SV. The high-performance model has already grabbed attention after setting a new lap record at Germany’s Hockenheimring.
Key Highlights:
- Lamborghini Revuelto SV to make its world debut at Monterey Car Week later this week
- Hardcore SV version gets a large fixed rear wing and revised aerodynamic elements
- Revuelto SV is expected to produce more than the standard model’s 1,015bhp
- The performance-focused model has already set a new lap record at Hockenheimring
Lamborghini Revuelto SV: Design
The teaser images reveal several changes aimed at improving the Revuelto SV’s aerodynamic performance. The biggest highlight is a large fixed rear wing, which gives the supercar a more aggressive appearance.
The rear also gets a sharper diffuser, while the side profile features newly designed side skirts. At the front, Lamborghini has reworked the bumper and added more air vents, which are expected to improve airflow and cooling.
The interior is likely to receive some minor updates, although Lamborghini has not revealed details yet.
Revuelto SV: Expected Engine Specs
Lamborghini has not announced the technical specifications of the Revuelto SV yet. However, the standard Revuelto uses a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with three electric motors, producing a combined 1,015bhp.
Given the SV badge and the car’s performance focus, the Revuelto SV is expected to deliver more power than the standard model. Lamborghini could also make changes to the suspension, brakes, weight and aerodynamics to improve its track performance.
The new model has already demonstrated its performance credentials at the Hockenheimring. Lamborghini says the Revuelto SV completed the lap 5.7 seconds faster than the Aventador SVJ, setting a new record.
More details about its power output, performance figures and other mechanical upgrades are expected to be revealed when Lamborghini officially unveils the Revuelto SV at Monterey Car Week.
