  • Features iMAXX 2.0 connected technology with remote vehicle controls, diagnostics and fleet-management tools.

Mahindra BLAZO i-TRK: Engine

The BLAZO i-TRK is powered by Mahindra’s 7.2-litre mPOWER engine, which develops 324bhp and 1,100Nm of torque between 1,100rpm and 1,700rpm. The engine comes with a TurboMAXX turbocharger and an OptiFuel air compressor, with the latter designed to reduce unnecessary power consumption.
The truck also gets iFuelSmart, an AI-enabled automatic drive mode developed for the heavy commercial vehicle segment. The system analyses factors such as road gradients, payload and driving conditions to automatically select the appropriate drive mode. Mahindra claims this technology can help deliver more consistent fuel efficiency.

BLAZO i-TRK: 48-Hour Uptime Guarantee

Mahindra is also focusing heavily on vehicle availability with its 48-hour uptime guarantee. Under the programme, eligible customers can receive Rs 10,000 per day if the truck is not returned to service within the committed 48-hour period, subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
The BLAZO i-TRK is supported by Mahindra’s service network and Quick Service Points. The company says its mQSPs are located within 75km on national highways and 50km on state highways.
Mahindra is also offering a Parts Supply Guarantee covering 250 critical parts. If an eligible part is not supplied within the committed 24-hour period, it will be provided free of cost, according to the company.

Connected Fleet Features

The BLAZO i-TRK gets iMAXX 2.0, Mahindra’s connected vehicle platform designed to give fleet operators greater control over their vehicles.
The system offers vehicle diagnostics, driver-behaviour monitoring, service management and fleet-performance insights. Key features include Remote AC Management, Remote Vehicle Crank Inhibit, air-filter clogging alerts, DPF performance alerts and distance-to-empty monitoring.
An optional dealer-fitted Driver Monitoring System uses a two-way camera to monitor the road ahead and check parameters such as driver recognition, seat-belt usage and signs of fatigue or drowsiness.
Mahindra also offers ScoreMAXX driver-performance analytics and FleetSense reports, giving fleet operators additional data on vehicle utilisation and performance.
The BLAZO i-TRK is also connected to Mahindra’s Now24x7 mobile application. Through the app, fleet operators can raise and track service requests, book appointments, check service history and request roadside assistance.
The app also allows users to order spare parts and monitor the location of breakdown vans, making it easier to manage service requirements while the vehicle is on the road.

Mahindra BLAZO i-TRK: Interior and Features

Mahindra has equipped the BLAZO i-TRK with several features aimed at improving driver comfort on long-distance trips. These include a three-way adjustable COMFiMAXX suspended seat and EzyCruise cruise control.
The truck also gets a factory-fitted AC cabin, Bluetooth-enabled entertainment and hands-free calling. A heavy-duty 430mm clutch is offered on all nine-speed transmission models.
Mahindra has also made provisions for factory-engineered Aero Kit installation. The company says the setup is designed to improve aerodynamics and fuel efficiency while avoiding problems that can arise from conventional aftermarket modifications.
The BLAZO i-TRK is available across different variants and applications and is offered in three colour options. Mahindra has positioned the truck around three key areas: earning more through improved fuel efficiency, running more through better vehicle availability and controlling more through connected fleet-management technology.
