Mahindra is gearing up to update the Scorpio N ahead of its annual Independence Day event, and the SUV has now been spotted at a dealership, hinting that its launch is just around the corner. Fresh spy images show the updated model being unloaded from a transport truck, revealing a few key upgrades that are expected to make the popular SUV even more feature-rich.
Key Highlights:
  • 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N spotted at a dealership ahead of launch
  • Panoramic sunroof expected to be introduced for the first time
  • Larger touchscreen and digital instrument cluster likely from Thar Roxx
  • Existing petrol and diesel engine options expected to continue
The latest sightings suggest that while the overall design remains familiar, Mahindra has focused on enhancing the cabin experience with several premium additions.

Panoramic Sunroof to Be the Biggest Upgrade

One of the biggest highlights of the 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N is expected to be the addition of a panoramic sunroof, replacing the single-pane unit offered on the current model. This has been one of the most requested features by buyers and will help the SUV stay competitive against rivals in the segment.
Earlier leaked videos had also revealed a larger infotainment touchscreen and a fully digital instrument cluster. Both units are expected to be shared with the Mahindra Thar Roxx, giving the Scorpio N's cabin a more modern look.

More Features on Offer

Apart from the upgraded displays, the refreshed Scorpio N is expected to receive a 360-degree camera for improved visibility while parking. Mahindra is also likely to introduce USB Type-C charging ports for both the first and second rows, making the SUV more practical for everyday use.
The centre AC vents have been redesigned to accommodate the larger infotainment screen, while the SUV is also expected to feature a new design for its alloy wheels.

Engine Options Likely to Remain Unchanged

Mechanically, the updated Scorpio N is expected to continue with the existing powertrain options. These include a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine, both paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Mahindra is also expected to retain its 4XPLOR four-wheel-drive system on select variants.
With the feature upgrades and premium additions, the updated Scorpio N is likely to strengthen its position in the highly competitive SUV segment ahead of its official launch.
