Maruti Suzuki Reports Marginal Growth in Domestic Monthly Car Sales for February 2026 as Exports Soar
In February 2026, Maruti Suzuki reported selling over 1.61 lakh passenger vehicles in the Indian market and overall sales of over 2 lakh units. Exports surged significantly for Maruti Suzuki registering 56.48 percent growth in February 2026.

Maruti Suzuki Car Sales: February 2026
Maruti Suzuki has shared its passenger vehicle sales data for the Indian market for February 2026. The data shared by the company highlights that the company managed to sell over 1.61 lakh units of passenger vehicles in the domestic market last month. What is commendable is the fact that Maruti Suzuki has managed to keep its crown of being the top automaker in the country for decades and even with no diesel engine on offer the automaker has expanded its presence in the SUV segment.

Last month Maruti Suzuki managed to sell a total of 2,00,155 units of passenger vehicles (including PVs sold domestically plus exports from India). This sales figure represents a growth in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 14,364 units which further translates into a 7.33 percent increase in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales. In February 2025 Maruti Suzuki posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 1,85,812 units.
In February 2026 Maruti Suzuki managed to sell 1,61,000 units of passenger vehicles in the Indian domestic market. This sales figure represents a year-on-year increase in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 209 units which further translates into a marginal growth of 0.12 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In February 2025 Maruti Suzuki posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 1,60,791 units.
Last month Maruti Suzuki exported 39,155 units of passenger vehicles from India. This represents a year-on-year increase in monthly passenger vehicle exports by 14,134 units which further translates into a 56.48 percent year-on-year rise in monthly passenger vehicle exports. In February 2025 Maruti Suzuki exported 25,021 units of passenger vehicles.
