According to the information shared by the company, the Countryman E can now return a claimed WLTP driving range of up to 501 km on a single charge. This figure makes it the longest-range electric model in the Mini line-up. The improvement is attributed to multiple hardware changes, including the introduction of a silicon carbide (SiC) inverter and a bigger battery pack. The SiC is designed to improve energy conversion efficiency and reduce power losses while the revised battery pack now has a net usable capacity of 65.2 kWh. In addition to these the company has added friction-reduced wheel bearings on the front axle to lower the rolling resistance.
The Mini Countryman Electric range continues to focus on practicality; it boasts a luggage capacity of up to 1,450 litres. This is aimed at meeting the needs of family use, longer trips and carrying sports or travel equipment. The Mini Countryman SE All4, which features all-wheel drive (AWD), offers a claimed WLTP range of up to 467 km.
Charging capability remains unchanged, with support for fast DC charging. The company claims that the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes. This also helps reduce charging time during long-distance usage.
On the design front, the electric Countryman features model-specific elements and aerodynamic updates. The Favoured Trim is highlighted by Mini as an option that includes Blazing Blue exterior paint, a contrasting silver roof and mirror caps, and 20-inch alloy wheels with a Windmill Spoke design.
Inside the cabin, the Mini Countryman is equipped with a 24 cm OLED central display that integrates infotainment, vehicle functions and driver assistance systems. The system supports advanced driver assistance features, including autonomous driving functions up to Level 2, as per the company’s specification.
Mini says the combination of the updated power electronics, battery system and efficiency-focused components is intended to improve real-world usability while maintaining the brand’s focus on electric mobility.
