Audi India is gearing up for an aggressive growth phase in the country with three new models planned over the next two years. The German luxury carmaker has confirmed that the new-generation Audi Q3 will arrive during the upcoming festive season, followed by the next-generation Audi A5 and flagship Audi Q9 in 2027.

Next-Generation Audi Q5
Audi recently revealed the third-generation Q5 globally. Built on the brand's new Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) architecture, it brings a sharper, more aggressive exterior design with dynamic LED lighting.The heavily revamped interior features a curved 11.9-inch digital driver display and a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen. It is expected to arrive in India around 2026 or 2027.
Next-Generation Audi Q7
Expected to be introduced globally by the end of 2026, the updated Q7 will likely feature Audi's iconic Singleframe grille alongside advanced customisable OLED taillights. An Indian launch is projected for 2027, continuing its rivalry with models like the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE.Alongside the new products, Audi India will also expand its retail network and focus on improving the overall customer experience, particularly in smaller cities.
The new Audi Q3 will be the first major launch in the company's upcoming product offensive. It is expected to arrive in India during the 2026 festive season.
The Q3 will be followed by the next-generation Audi A5 and the flagship Q9 in 2027.
Audi India to Expand Dealership Network
Audi India plans to increase its retail footprint by more than 25% by the end of 2027. The company is placing particular emphasis on Tier-II and Tier-III cities, where demand for luxury vehicles has been growing.
The carmaker is also upgrading its existing dealerships with Audi's global Progressive Showroom concept. These facilities are designed to offer a more immersive and digital-first experience for customers.
Audi plans to have 40 showrooms in India by the end of next year as part of this expansion strategy.
Audi Targets to Double Market Share
Audi India is also targeting a significant increase in its market share over the next few years. According to Balbir Singh Dhillon, Brand Director, Audi India, the company wants to double its current 8% market share within the next three years.
“We are building the next phase of Audi India’s growth on the back of a strong pipeline of new products and continued investments in the market,” Dhillon said.
He added that the company will focus on introducing new models across segments while strengthening its presence in India's luxury car market.
Audi India expects the country's luxury car market to continue expanding, supported by rising affluence, growing demand for premium vehicles and increasing interest from customers outside major metropolitan cities.
