Renault India Posts Over 77 Percent Growth in Monthly Car Sales for March 2026

French automaker Renault India has shared its sales data for March 2026. The data shared by the company highlights that Renault managed to sell over five thousand units of passenger vehicles in India last month.

In March 2026 Renault managed to sell a total of 5,046 units of passenger vehicles in the Indian market. This sales figure represents a rise in year-on-year total monthly passenger vehicle sales by 2,200 units which further translates into 77.30 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In March 2025 Renault India posted a total passenger vehicle sales of 2,846 units.

Renault India also shared its sales performance for last financial year. In FY25-26 Renault managed to sell a total of 42,018 units of passenger vehicles domestically in the Indian market. This sales figure represents a year-on-year growth in annual domestic passenger vehicles sales by 4,118 units which further translates into 10.86 percent increase in year-on-year annual domestic passenger vehicle sales. In FY24-25 Renault posted annual domestic passenger vehicle sales of 37,900 units.

Offering a deeper sales insight of March 2026 sales, Renault revealed that the Triber and Kiger combined accounted for about 63 percent of their total monthly sales in India. The automaker also commenced with the deliveries of the new Duster last month, which also boosted their sales. The Duster is a popular nameplate in the Indian market and following its return we expect monthly sales of Renault to rise in the coming months as well. Renault currently offers four products in the Indian market - Kwid, Triber, Kiger and Duster.
