Royal Enfield has teased its upcoming Himalayan 750, hinting at a potential global launch at EICMA 2026 in Milan. This adventure tourer is anticipated to feature a new parallel-twin engine, cruise control, and various ride modes.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Teased Ahead of Debut
Royal Enfield has offered the first official glimpse of its upcoming Himalayan 750, building anticipation for what could become the brand's biggest motorcycle yet. The teaser features the motorcycle's silhouette, while the coordinates visible in the image point towards Milan, Italy. This suggests that the adventure tourer could make its global debut at the EICMA 2026 motorcycle show in November.
Key Highlights:
- Royal Enfield has released the first official teaser of the Himalayan 750.
- The teaser points to Milan, Italy, hinting at a possible debut at EICMA 2026 in November.
- The adventure tourer is expected to feature a new parallel-twin engine, cruise control and multiple ride modes.
- Test bikes have revealed adjustable Showa USD forks, twin front disc brakes and 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels.
The Himalayan 750 has been spotted testing several times in recent months, revealing key details about its design, hardware and expected features. While Royal Enfield has not confirmed its specifications or launch timeline, the latest teaser suggests that an official unveiling could be approaching.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Design
The Himalayan 750 is expected to retain the adventure-focused design associated with the Himalayan range. Previous spy shots have revealed a round LED headlamp, a large fuel tank with front shrouds, a windscreen and a raised handlebar.
The motorcycle has also been spotted with cross-spoked wheels, giving it a traditional adventure-touring appearance. It could also be offered with touring accessories to make it more suitable for long-distance journeys.
Earlier images revealed four possible colour options. These include a maroon shade with yellow and black accents, a white fuel tank with yellow and red graphics, a metallic grey finish and another solid-colour option. The final colour choices will be confirmed closer to the launch.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Expected Features
The upcoming motorcycle could receive several electronic features aimed at improving comfort and convenience on long rides. Spy images have shown a dedicated 'CRUISE' button on the right-hand switchgear, along with a 'RES/+' toggle. These controls suggest that the Himalayan 750 could feature a ride-by-wire throttle and cruise control.
Another image revealed a separate 'M' button, similar to the one found on the Himalayan 450. On the smaller motorcycle, this button is used to control ABS functions, while on other Royal Enfield models, similar controls can be used to switch between riding modes.
The Himalayan 750 could therefore offer multiple ride modes, potentially allowing riders to adjust throttle response and the intervention of electronic rider aids. However, Royal Enfield has not confirmed these features yet.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Suspension, Wheels and Brakes
The test motorcycles spotted so far have featured adjustable Showa upside-down (USD) front forks. At the rear, the bike appears to use a monoshock suspension system with a frame-mounted preload adjuster.
The motorcycle has also been seen with a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. This setup differs from the 21-inch front wheel used on the smaller Himalayan models and could reflect a greater focus on road touring alongside adventure riding.
The wheels are fitted with Vredestein Centauro XR dual-purpose radial tyres. Right-angle metal valve stems are also visible, potentially indicating the presence of a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), although this remains unconfirmed.
Braking duties are handled by twin front discs with ByBre callipers, while the rear gets a single disc brake. The exact disc sizes have not yet been revealed.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Expected Engine and Performance
The Himalayan 750 is expected to use a new parallel-twin engine, making it a significant step up from the single-cylinder engine in the Himalayan 450. A large radiator, visible behind the front wheel and protected by a wire-mesh guard, confirms that the test motorcycle uses liquid cooling. This is consistent with expectations of a larger-capacity engine designed to offer improved performance for highway cruising and long-distance touring.
However, Royal Enfield has not officially confirmed the engine's displacement, power output, torque figures or transmission options. These details are likely to become clearer when the motorcycle is unveiled.
When Will the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Launch?
The coordinates in the first official teaser point to Milan, Italy, raising the possibility of a global debut at EICMA 2026 in November. The motorcycle has already been spotted testing multiple times, and the teaser marks its first official appearance from the company.
Royal Enfield has not announced an official unveiling date, India launch timeline or expected price. More details about the motorcycle's specifications, features and market positioning are expected to emerge closer to its debut.
