Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Crosses 6 Lakh Global Sales Milestone

Royal Enfield has announced that the Meteor 350 motorcycle has crossed 6 lakh units in cumulative global sales. The Meteor 350 was first launched back in November 2020 and it has achieved this feat in a time period of little over five years. The Meteor 350 motorcycle is part of Royal Enfield’s 350cc motorcycle portfolio and is sold across India along with several international markets.
The Meteor 350 was also the first model based on the J-series platform from Royal Enfield. This platform now underpins multiple motorcycles in the company’s 350cc lineup, including the likes of Classic 350, Hunter 350 and Bullet 350. Back in the day Meteor 350 was the first Royal Enfield motorcycle to be introduced with a new engine and platform architecture for 350cc motorcycles.
The Meteor 350 motorcycle is powered by a 349cc air- and oil-cooled single-cylinder petrol engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine generates a peak power output of 20.2bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.
The Meteor 350 is equipped with a digi-analogue instrument cluster, Tripper navigation pod with turn-by-turn navigation, adjustable levers, LED lighting, assist-and-slip clutch and Type-C USB charging.
Being a mid-size cruiser motorcycle, the Meteor 350 comes with forward-set footpegs, wide handlebars and a low seat height. Design elements include a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, round headlamp and sculpted fenders.
In India the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is available in eight colour options - Fireball Grey, Fireball Orange, Stellar Matt Grey, Stellar Marine Blue, Aurora Red, Aurora Retro Green, Supernova Black and Sundowner Orange. The Meteor 350 is available in an ex-showroom price range of Rs 1.95 to 2.18 lakh.
The information shared by Royal Enfield highlights that the Meteor 350 is currently sold in more than 60 countries. Royal Enfield’s retail network includes over 2,000 dealerships in India and more than 1,000 outlets globally.
