Suzuki, Maruti Propose Osamu Suzuki Centre Of Excellence In Gujarat And Haryana

Osamu Suzuki, leadership facilitated Suzuki’s entry into India and its rise as a key player in the country’s automotive sector. Suzuki’s collaboration with the Indian government in the 1980s established Maruti Udyog Limited, now known as Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL). Efforts undertaken by him have laid the foundation for the growth of the Indian automotive industry and it continues to be a blueprint for success in the Indian market for all automakers.

OSCOE is proposed to be developed in two Indian states—Gujarat and Haryana. These locations have previously played a key role in Maruti Suzuki’s operations and supply chain development.
