Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX Limited Edition Launched in India at Rs 23.07 Lakh
Triumph has introduced the Speed Triple 1200 RX in India at Rs 23.07 lakh (ex-showroom). The RX is a limited-edition model, with only 1,200 units available globally. It is based on the Speed Triple 1200 RS but includes design and ergonomic changes along with an exclusive exhaust system.

Triumph has launched the Speed Triple 1200 RX in India at Rs 23.07 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is limited to 1,200 units worldwide. Compared to the Speed Triple 1200 RS, which is priced at Rs 21.76 lakh, the RX variant carries a premium of Rs 1.31 lakh.
Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX: Design
The RX is based on the Speed Triple 1200 RS but comes with some notable differences. It features a sportier rider position, with lower clip-on handlebars and higher, more rear-set foot pegs. The bike also comes with a neon yellow and black paint scheme featuring RX graphics.
The model includes a carbon-fibre and titanium Akrapovic exhaust, though this does not reduce the overall weight. The RX continues to weigh 199 kg (kerb), similar to the RS.

Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX: Engine
Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX Limited Edition is powered by the same 1,160cc inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 180.5 bhp at 10,750rpm and 128Nm of torque at 8,750rpm. These figures represent a small increase in power and torque over the previous generation. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.
Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX: Suspension and Braking
The Speed Triple 1200 RX uses Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 electronic suspension at both ends. The front features 43 mm USD forks, while the rear gets an electronically adjustable monoshock. Braking duties are handled by twin 320 mm Brembo Stylema front discs and a single 220 mm Brembo rear disc, both with cornering ABS.

Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RX: Dimensions
The Speed Triple 1200 RX features a 5-inch full-colour TFT display. It runs on Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V3 tyres - 120/70ZR17 at the front and 190/55ZR17 at the rear. The motorcycle has a 15.5-litre fuel tank and a seat height of 830 mm. Wheelbase stands at 1,445 mm and overall width and height are 825 mm and 1,059 mm respectively.
