TVS Motor Company Crosses 10 lakh Production Milestone in Indonesia

TVS Motor Company has completed one million units of cumulative production at its Indonesia manufacturing facility. The company began operations in the country in 2006 and has been manufacturing vehicles there for 19 years. The milestone covers both two-wheelers and three-wheelers produced for domestic sales and exports.

According to the company, nearly 95 percent of the total production consists of two-wheelers. The remaining 5 percent comprises three-wheelers. The facility has supplied vehicles for the Indonesian market and other international markets over the years.

Since starting operations, the company has invested in expanding production capacity and updating manufacturing processes at its Indonesia plant. The facility produces vehicles aimed at meeting domestic demand as well as export requirements. The company stated that its manufacturing operations focus on performance, fuel efficiency and compliance with market regulations.

TVS Motor Company Indonesia currently operates 49 dealerships across regions including Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi. The dealership network supports sales and after-sales services across the country. The company said the network plays a role in maintaining customer access to service and spare parts.

The company stated that its operations in Indonesia contribute to local employment and supplier development. It works with local vendors and dealer partners as part of its manufacturing and distribution activities.
