While on the downside the customers will have to wait a little longer but they will receive a product with improved architecture and additional features. The company also cited that it is incorporating several changes in this electric scooter following customer feedback.

Ultraviolette Tesseract: Expect Changes for 2027 Launch

One of the biggest highlights of the upcoming Ultraviolette Tesseract is its all-new 100V platform. According to the company, this will make it the first electric scooter in India to feature such a high-voltage architecture.
Ultraviolette claims the new setup enables up to two times faster charging compared to current industry standards while also delivering nearly three times more power. The higher voltage system is also said to improve thermal management, sustained performance, load-carrying capability, and energy efficiency.
The company further states that components such as the charger and motor controller have become lighter and more compact due to the new architecture.
Powering the Tesseract will be a 15kW electric motor, making it one of the most powerful electric scooters expected to go on sale in India. Ultraviolette also claims that this electric scooter has a top speed of 125 kmph.
The Tesseract will also continue to target the premium electric scooter segment with features such as dual-channel ABS, traction control, dynamic stability control, hill-hold assist, park assist, and radar-based blind spot alerts. A 7-inch touchscreen display is also expected to be part of the equipment list.
Following its unveiling in 2025, Ultraviolette conducted roadshows and customer interaction events across more than 30 cities in India. The company says feedback from these events played a major role in refining the production-ready scooter.
As part of the updates, the Tesseract now gets a wider seat with increased foam density for improved comfort. The floorboard area has also been redesigned to offer more space and better accessibility, especially for shorter riders. Ultraviolette says the rider interface, ergonomics, and practicality have also been revised based on real-world feedback gathered during these showcases.
The Ultraviolette Tesseract is expected to be offered with 3.5kWh, 5kWh, and 6kWh battery pack options. Earlier, the company had claimed a maximum riding range of 261 km on a single charge, although the figure was not linked to a specific battery variant. The electric scooter will also feature a newly developed battery management system (BMS), which Ultraviolette claims is significantly lighter and more compact than the unit used on its existing motorcycles.
At the time of unveiling, Ultraviolette had announced a starting price of Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant of the Tesseract. The company had also introduced a limited introductory price of Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers.
