TVS Apache RTX Adventure Bike Showcased At Auto Expo 2025: Check Details

Indian automaker, TVS Motor showcased its adventure motorcycle, the Apache RTX at the Auto Expo 2025 which comes under the umbrella of Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The adventure motorcycle from the Indian automaker was spotted being tested on Indian roads recently. The Apache RTX is expected to be powered by TVS’ new RT-D4 engine which it unveiled at the recent Moto Soul 4.0 in India.

Powered by the new liquid-cooled 299cc RT-D4 engine, it produces peak power of 34.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and peak torque of 28.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. TVS has developed the new engine equipped in the Apache RTX entirely at its R&D centre in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.

The adventure bike from the Indian automaker is expected to compete against the likes of KTM 250 Adventure and Suzuki V-Strom. The TVS Apache RTX would sit below the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM Adventure 390 when compared to the performance and price of the latter two.

The showcased TVS Apache RTX has upside down suspension forks in the front and is expected to feature a monoshock suspension at the rear. Additionally, the bike is equipped with front & rear disc brakes and is expected to boast dual-channel ABS system with switchable rear ABS along with multiple ride modes. The bike is expected to be equipped with a TFT display which will consist of all information of the bike.

Moreover, the bike features twin-LED headlamp setup, LED turn indicators, a semi-fairing and a split seat. Furthermore, the bike has been fitted with a windscreen which is characteristical of an adventure tourer. The accessory kit is expected to include storage boxes (side panniers and a top box). The adventure motorcycle, TVS Apache RTX is expected to be launched sometime later this year.
