MG India Set To Hike Prices Of Selected Offerings By 1.5% From July 1, 2025
MG Motor will implement a price increase of up to 1.5% on most products starting July 1, 2025, in response to rising input costs and macroeconomic factors. The specific models affected by the hike have not yet been disclosed. Concurrently, the company is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the new MG Windsor Exclusive Pro, priced at Rs 17.24 lakh, which includes a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner and a buyback plan ensuring 60% value retention after three years.
MG India Set To Hike Prices Of Selected Offerings By 1.5 From July 1, 2025
MG Motor on Wednesday announced a price hike of up to 1.5% across most of its product offerings. As per the company, the price increase shall be effective from July 1, 2025.
Additionally, the company stated that prices will vary as per the model and variant. The company further stated that the prices have been revised to mitigate the impact of rising input costs and other macroeconomic factors.
The company has not announced which products will be impacted by the price hike from July onwards. This comes on the back of MG expanding its electric portfolio with the MG Windsor.
The Chinese-owned British automaker recently launched the MG Windsor Exclusive Pro variant expanding its electric vehicle offerings. Additionally, the MG Windsor Exclusive Pro variant will be priced at an ex-showroom price of Rs 17.24 lakh and Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) price of Rs 12.24 lakh + Rs 4.5/km.
Furthermore, MG Motor India will offer a lifetime battery warranty to the first owner of the MG Windsor Pro. In addition, the company will extend its 3-60 assured buyback plan for the MG Windsor Pro ensuring that it’ll retain 60% of its value after three years.
The launch of MG Windsor Exclusive Pro comes on the back of the company receiving more than 8,000 bookings for the Windsor Essence Pro. The MG Windsor Essence Pro is equipped with features like V2V and V2L along with Level 2 ADAS for better safety, priced at Rs 18.10 lakh and 13.10 lakh with BaaS + Rs 4.5/km.
