Sonet Helps Kia Post Their Best Ever Annual Sales In India For 2024

In 2024 Kia managed to sell 2,55,038 units of passenger vehicles domestically in the Indian market, which is their best ever annual sales performance in the country till now. This sales figure represents a year-on-year increase in annual domestic passenger vehicles sales by 14,119 units. This further translates into a 5.86 percent growth in year-on-year annual domestic passenger vehicle sales. In 2023 Kia India posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 2,40,919 units. Sharing this sales insight the company also shared that it managed to export 25,404 units of passenger vehicles from India in 2024.

Kia India also shared detailed sales data which depicts that the Sonet SUV has contributed strongly to the company’s success in 2024 where the company sold 1,02,227 units of this SUV in the last calendar year accounting for about 40.12 percent of the company’s total annual sales in the country.. The company also shared that it has successfully delivered 563 units of its premium Carnival Limousine MPV in India within two months of its reintroduction in the market.

Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing at Kia India said, “2024 has been a defining one for Kia India. As we move into 2025, we are excited about the upcoming launch of the Syros, which promises to redefine the Indian automotive landscape. With this, we will set new industry benchmarks and reinforce our leadership position in the market”.
