2025 Ather 450 Launched At Rs 1.29 Lakh

Ather Energy has launched the 2025 Ather 450 series with updated safety and convenience technologies. Some major Highlights include multi-mode traction control, MagicTwist for regenerative braking and improved TrueRange across its models.

The 2025 Ather 450 series is available with the new Eight70 warranty (including eight years or 80,000 km of coverage with a 70 percent battery health guarantee). The Ather 450S starts at Rs 1,29,999, Ather 450X at Rs 1,46,999 for 2.9 kWh and Rs 1,56,999 for the 450X 3.7 kWh and Ather 450 Apex at Rs 1,99,999 (all prices ex-showroom Bengaluru).

In terms of key upgrades, The 2025 Ather 450 series now comes with multi-mode traction control that includes three riding modes: Rain, Road and Rally. Rain Mode minimizes slip for wet surfaces, Road Mode balances safety and performance for daily use and Rally Mode allows controlled slip for off-road adventures.

The 2025 Ather 450 series now comes with new multi-compound tires developed with MRF, MagicTwist technology that reduces energy loss during braking and TrueRange. The 450X 3.7 kWh now offers a TrueRange of up to 130 km, while the 450 Apex comes with a TrueRange of 157 km (IDC). Other models in the lineup, such as the 450X 2.9 kWh and 450S, also see improved ranges of 105 km and 122 km, respectively.

The 2025 Ather 450 series is supported by AtherStack 6, the software update that brings features like integrated Google Maps, Alexa support and WhatsApp notifications on the dashboard. Riders can also locate their scooter using "Ping My Scooter" and share live locations during rides.

Ather has also introduced faster charging options with the Ather Duo, which reduces charging time to three hours for the 450X 2.9 kWh model. Select models now come bundled with accessories like the Halo smart helmet.
