MG Windsor EV Pro Gets 8,000 Bookings On Launch Day, Prices Revised

At launch, the Windsor EV Pro was priced at Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 12.49 lakh under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plan with a battery rental of Rs 4.5 per kilometre. With the initial booking cap reached, the new prices are Rs 18.09 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 13.09 lakh under the BaaS plan.

The Windsor EV Pro is offered in three variants: Excite, Essence and Exclusive. The Pro version adds new features to the existing Windsor lineup. The vehicle includes a 52.9 kWh battery and a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that delivers 134.14 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. The certified range is 449 km on a full charge.

In terms of safety, the Windsor Pro EV comes equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), offering 12 features. These include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, and Traffic Jam Assist. Alerts are provided through audio, visual and haptic signals.

Three new colour options are available: Celadon Blue, Glaze Red and Aurora Silver. MG is offering a 3-year warranty package that includes unlimited vehicle warranty, roadside assistance and three free labour services. The first owners will also receive a lifetime battery warranty. An assured buyback program guarantees a 60% resale value after three years.
