Skoda Elroq RS SUV Teased Ahead Of Its Global Debut On April 3rd

Volkswagen owned Czech automaker Skoda has released a teaser for the upcoming Elroq RS SUV. The Elroq RS is the performance-oriented version of its all-electric compact SUV. Sharing this update the company shared that this model will be officially unveiled globally on April 3rd during the Milan Design Week 2025 at the Padiglione d'Arte Contemporanea gallery in the Porta Venezia Design District. The global premier of the same will also be live-streamed on Skoda’s official YouTube channel.

The upcoming Skoda Elroq RS will feature black exterior trim elements, including a high-gloss black Tech-Deck Face grille. The teaser images shared by the company reveal that it boasts a redesigned front bumper with a more aggressive look, a revised rear bumper and blacked-out badges. The teaser image also revealed that this upcoming SUV will also be available in an exclusive Hyper Green paint finish.

On the inside the upcoming Skoda Elroq RS is expected to feature RS-branded sports seats with integrated headrests and a steering wheel with the RS logo. Skoda may introduce exclusive trim and upholstery, while the infotainment system could receive dedicated RS-specific software. It is likely to sport a 5-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13-inch infotainment system. The company can also introduce a variety of material options for the interior like fabric, suede or leather/leatherette.

While Skoda has not disclosed technical specifications of the Elroq RS, it is expected to surpass the 282 bhp output of the current top-end Elroq 85 variant. It may also feature a dual-motor setup which can deliver over 300 bhp, similar to Volkswagen’s ID.3 GTX which utilizes the same platform. Adaptive dampers, currently available as an option on the standard Elroq, are likely to be offered as standard on the RS variant.
