Tata Curvv.ev Launching Today: Expected Price, Features, Safety & More

Tata Motor is gearing up to launch its fifth EV offering in the passenger vehicle space today. Today the company will be launching the much anticipated electric version of the Curvv SUV coupe in the Indian market. The Tata Curvv.ev launching today is set to give rise to a new compact SUV coupe segment in the market. The Curvv.ev will join the likes of Nexon.ev, Punch.ev, Tiago.ev and Tigor.ev in the company’s passenger EV lineup.

Tata Motors took the wraps off the Curvv.ev back in 2022 when it was first showcased as a concept vehicle. Tata Motors is known to make cars that are quite close to their concept versions. The company has been constantly at it to bridge the gap between its concept cars and their production versions. At the time of showcasing this concept the company had shared that it will be launched in the market by the later half of 2024 and the company is bang on its specified timeline and the company will kick off the Curvv bonanza with the launch of its electric version first today. The ICE version of this SUV will be launched on a later date.

The Tata Curvv.ev boasts a SUV coupe design with its sleek design and sloping roofline mirroring its ICE counterpart. The Curvv.ev stands out with glossy plastic cladding, distinct dual-tone alloy wheels and EV specific badging in blue and black. The interior boasts advanced features like connected front LED DRLs, double-barrel headlamps, connected tail lamps, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and a digital infotainment system.

With time Tata Motors has become synonymous with safety and the upcoming Curvv.ev should be no exception. We are pretty certain that the Curvv.ev will boast top notch safety features and it is also likely to get advanced safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane assist and even Level-2 ADAS.

Expected to be priced between Rs 19 to 25 lakh, the Tata Curvv.ev will compete with models like the MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona Electric and BYD Atto 3.
