Urja Mobility Partners With Sieger Technologies, Invests $1 Million In Advanced Battery Systems

Urja Mobility, an EV battery leasing solutions startup, recently announced its partnership with Sieger Technologies. Urja Mobility has invested $1 million in Sieger Technologies' advanced battery systems, with a commitment to lease and deploy 2,500 batteries for electric vehicles.

The partnership will help accelerate the transition to cleaner and sustainable transportation by providing EV operators with a flexible and cost-effective battery leasing model. This initiative aims to enhance the accessibility of commercial electric vehicles by addressing the upfront battery costs.

The 2,500 batteries, provided by Sieger Technologies, will be deployed across a wide range of electric two-wheelers (L2) and three-wheelers (L3, L5), playing a role in enhancing the performance and longevity of these vehicles. These batteries will incorporate advanced features such as smart BMS (Battery Management System) with IoT solutions, thermal management, and advanced chemistry cells, all designed to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency.

Urja Mobility’s leasing model allows businesses to lease high-performance Lithium-Ion batteries for electric three-wheelers (51.2V-100Ah, 200Ah) and two-wheelers (51.2V-20Ah to 40Ah), with fast-charging capabilities (2-4 hours). By converting the upfront cost of purchasing batteries into a manageable monthly lease value (MLV), this partnership aims to reduce the financial burden on businesses, empowering them to operate their electric vehicles from future earnings.
