2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Review Design: Updated Design Gives it Fresh Appeal

Unlike conventional design changes which require a major rework, Royal Enfield has undertaken a smarter approach - one that doesn’t require them to make large-scale changes to the motorcycle. Instead, it has introduced new colour schemes for the Hunter 350.
The first one is Rio White and it can be seen in the pictures on our test bike. The Rio White colour scheme is available on the Mid variant of the motorcycle. Along with that, a Graphite Grey paint scheme also has been introduced. London Red and Tokyo Black are also new colour combinations, which are offered on the Top variant of the Hunter 350. While it might seem like the Top and Mid variants offer different features as well, the only real distinction between them is the different colour schemes.
The three colour options that have been carried forward from the previous iteration of the motorcycle are Factory Black (Base variant), Dapper Grey (Mid variant) and Rebel Blue (Top variant).

2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Review Features: New Features Make Life More Convenient

The 2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 now offers multiple new features. An LED headlight, 27W fast charging Type C USB port, and RE’s own Tripper Navigation Pod are now standard on the Mid and Top variants of the motorcycle. The Base variant continues to make do with a Halogen bulb headlight and a 27W Type C USB port (minus the fast charging).
The headlight feels like a mixed upgrade. While the LED headlight has a better throw than the Halogen headlamp found on the previous iteration of the Hunter 350, and on the current Base variant, it tends to create a glare effect for the rider after reflecting of dark surfaces. This can create visual uncertainty while riding the motorcycle at night, and at the very least, it will take some getting used too. Personally, I prefer the halogen headlamp as it did a great job of highlighting obstacles on the road.
The 27 W fast charging USB port that is located underneath the clutch lever is a big plus on the 2025 Hunter 350. It’s a bit difficult to plug in the charging cable due to the location of the port, however, it’s not a cause for concern as you don’t need to plug it in daily and can leave it tethered to your smartphone mount.
The Tripper Navigation Pod from Royal Enfield has also been made standard on the Mid and Top variants of the Hunter 350. With urban riding a primary focus for Hunter 350 buyers, the added navigational assistance improves the overall versatility of the motorcycle.

2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Review Performance: Performs Well in the City

While the 2025 Royal Enfield has only undergone minor changes, the riding experience of the motorcycle has been transformed. This is majorly because RE now uses progressive springs instead of linear ones for the rear dual shock absorbers. Previously, the front-end of the motorcycle was tuned for comfort but the rear-end felt unusually stiff. This was prominently highlighted over sharp potholes when both ends of the motorcycle reacted differently, and it was often unsettling as a rider.
Progressive springs have allowed RE to solve this problem, and the motorcycle now reacts more predictably over bumpy roads and potholes. This has not only bettered the riding experience but also makes the Hunter 350 a lot more comfortable than before. On the comfort front, the seat now uses a denser foam padding, thus reducing saddle fatigue. Lastly, the Hunter 350 now comes with a slip-and-assist clutch. It’s not like the motorcycle really needed it, but the added benefit of a light clutch action means that it too makes the 2025 Hunter 350 more comfortable to ride than its predecessor.
All that aside, the powertrain of the Hunter 350 is the same as before and that means you get a 349cc J Series engine from Royal Enfield belting out 20.2bhp of max power and 27Nm of peak torque, all of which is sent to the rear wheel via a 5 speed transmission. The highlight of this package remains the low-end torque delivery which makes the Hunter 350 super-easy to ride in the city. While it’s not an engine that is meant to be ridden at the redline, the J Series motor is surprisingly accommodating when you rev it out.

2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Review Verdict: Offers More Value Than Before

Coming to the main point, how has the 2025 Hunter become better? Quite simply, it offers even more value for money than before, which we really didn’t think was possible. You see, when RE launched the update, they hiked the price of the 2025 Hunter 350 by a modest Rs. 7,000, which was justified for the added features. However, post the GST 2.0 rate cut, the price of the Hunter 350 has gone down by up to Rs. 15,000. So much so that the new Hunter 350 now costs less than its predecessor.
On its own, the previous model of the Hunter 350 offered great value for money, despite its shortcomings, and in a sense, it was setting the benchmark in its segment. Now, with the prices even lower and the shortcomings of the Hunter 350 fixed, it’s offering a VFM quotient never seen in this corner of the Indian motorcycle market.
