Mahindra XUV 7XO Variants Explained: AX, AX3, AX5, AX7 and More

The Mahindra XUV 7XO boasts enhanced safety features, including an improved Level-2 ADAS with increased sensor range from 170 meters to 250 meters. It also includes a 540-degree camera system, radar-based 3D object visualization, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold. Standard safety equipment features six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The Mahindra XUV 7XO features a triple-screen dashboard layout, which includes a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment screen, and a front passenger display. This is a significant upgrade from the XUV700. Additionally, it offers a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, wireless smartphone connectivity, and a revamped touch-sensitive climate control panel.

This system is paired with a McPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension, providing better handling and comfort compared to the XUV700.
The engine options for the Mahindra XUV 7XO remain unchanged from the XUV700, offering a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine that produces 197.13 bhp and a 2.2L turbo-diesel engine delivering 181.03 bhp. Both engines are available with manual and automatic transmission options, with the diesel variant also offering an all-wheel-drive option on select trims.
The Mahindra XUV 7XO starts at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 13.66 lakh for the petrol variant and Rs 14.96 lakh for the diesel variant, which positions it competitively against the XUV700. The pricing strategy reflects Mahindra's aim to attract buyers looking for advanced features and updated technology while maintaining a similar price point.
