2026 Kawasaki Ninja 300 Launched in India at Rs 3.17 lakh
Kawasaki introduced the 2026 Ninja 300 in India in January 2026. The motorcycle continues to be offered in a single variant and is priced at Rs 3.17 lakh (ex-showroom). There are no revisions to the design, features or hardware compared to the outgoing model year.
For 2026, the only update comes in the form of new colour options. The Ninja 300 is now available in Lime Green and Candy Lime Green/Ebony. Both colours follow Kawasaki’s established green theme and feature revised graphics that visually differentiate the new model from the 2025 version.
Mechanically, the Ninja 300 remains unchanged. It is powered by a 296cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine with fuel injection. The engine produces 38.4bhp at 11,000 rpm and 26.1 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm paired with a six-speed gearbox paired with a wet, multi-disc clutch and chain final drive.
The motorcycle continues to use a tubular diamond frame. It has a wheelbase of 1,405 mm and a ground clearance of 140 mm. The seat height is set at 785 mm, while fuel tank capacity stands at 17 litres. The kerb weight remains unchanged at 179 kg.
Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks measuring 37 mm in diameter, along with a rear Uni-Trak gas-charged monoshock that offers five-step preload adjustment. Braking is managed by a 290 mm petal disc at the front and a 220 mm petal disc at the rear, both using dual-piston calipers.
With the 2026 update, the Ninja 300 continues in the Indian market without any mechanical or structural changes. The update is limited to cosmetic revisions, keeping the motorcycle’s specifications and overall positioning the same as before.
