2026 KTM 990 Duke Revealed for Europe with New Colour

KTM has presented the 2026 990 Duke for the European market, adding new colour choices but keeping all mechanical components the same as the outgoing model. The announcement was made in late 2025. The motorcycle is listed at EUR 12,990, which converts to roughly Rs. 12.5 lakh before taxes. With Bajaj now controlling KTM, there is a possibility of the model entering India, and local manufacturing could influence future pricing.

The main change for 2026 is a new white, black, and orange colour combination. KTM says this design connects with its earlier street and racing themes. The overall body structure, headlamp and tail design remain unchanged, with the update limited to graphics.

The KTM 990 Duke is powered by a 947cc, parallel-twin 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine that puts out 121.3 bhp and 103 Nm of torque paired with a 6 speed gearbox and uses Bosch electronic management with ride-by-wire.

The 990 Duke sits on a steel trellis frame uses the engine as a stressed member. KTM has retained the WP Apex suspension system, with a 43mm front fork and a rear monoshock. Both units provide travel that suits daily riding as well as sport-oriented use. Braking hardware includes dual 300mm front discs with radially mounted four-piston calipers and a 240mm rear disc. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch cast-aluminium wheels and it offers a seat height of 825mm, ground clearance of 195mm and a wheelbase of 1476mm.

KTM has carried forward the electronics from the previous version. The 2026 990 Duke continues to offer riding modes, traction control, cornering-sensitive ABS, and electronic aids such as wheelie management and engine-brake control. No new features have been added for the 2026 update and the focus for this model year remains on the refreshed colour scheme.
