All-New Kia Seltos Teased Ahead of Global Premiere on December 10

Kia India has released the first official teaser of the upcoming Seltos , offering an early look at the SUV ahead of its global premiere on December 10, 2025. The new model marks a complete redesign of the Seltos, which made its India debut in 2019.
Based on the teaser, the SUV adopts Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design direction, blending familiar cues with a more technical, sharper and more structured overall look. The proportions appear reworked as well, with cleaner surfaces and a noticeably more upright stance than the current version.

Exterior Design Changes Visible in the Teaser

The teaser points to a series of significant styling updates. Up front, the Seltos sports vertically arranged boomerang-shaped LED DRLs paired with rectangular projector units inside the headlamp cluster. The bonnet sits flatter with smoother surfacing, while the new interpretation of Kia’s tiger-face grille is positioned slightly lower, giving the nose a wider and more planted appearance. The bumper is reshaped and features a silver skid-plate-like insert.
The alloy wheels showcased are dual-tone with an aero-themed angular design. At the rear, the SUV wears L-shaped LED tail-lamps with a 3D effect, connected by a slim red strip running across the tailgate. The silhouette looks boxier, with a more upright glasshouse, a prominent shoulder line and tighter, more defined contours along the doors and fenders.
The teaser images also shows chunky roof rails, subtle chrome or silver touches around the window and roof sections, and a dual-tone rear bumper with black cladding and silver highlights. The reflectors and reverse lights sit low on the bumper, while the ORVMs feature integrated LED turn indicators in a clean, streamlined housing. The SUV in the teaser appears finished in a muted grey-green shade with a matte-like effect.
