Kia India has revealed its passenger vehicle sales figures for March and Q1 2026. Kia has stated that it has achieved its highest-ever monthly sales in India in March 2026 at 29,112 units.

The Indian division of the South Korean automaker Kia has revealed its sales for March 2026. The data shared by the automaker highlights that Kia India has achieved its highest-ever monthly car sales in March 2026. Last month the company sold over twenty nine thousand units of passenger vehicles in the Indian market.

Kia India: March 2026 Sales
In March 2026 Kia India managed to sell a total of 29,112 units of passenger vehicles domestically in the Indian market. This sales figure represents a year-on-year increase in monthly domestic passenger vehicles sales by 3,587 units which further translates into 14.05 percent growth in year-on-year monthly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In March 2025 Kia India posted a domestic passenger vehicle sales of 25,525 units.
Kia India: Q1 2026 Sales
In the first quarter of 2026, Kia sold 84,316 units of passenger vehicles in the Indian market. This sales figure marks a year-on-year increase in Q1 domestic passenger vehicles sales by 8,740 units which further translates into 11.56 percent growth in year-on-year quarterly domestic passenger vehicle sales. In Q1 2025 Kia India posted cumulative domestic passenger vehicle sales of 75,576 units.
The sales data offered by the company offered deeper sales insights; which indicate that the new-generation Seltos SUV has crossed 10,000 units in monthly sales. The automaker also stated that its sub-compact SUV Sonnet remained a key contributor to sales during this period.
Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said, “We delivered our best-ever March sales and strongest-ever quarterly performance, driven by sustained demand across our portfolio. The new Seltos, backed by its 5-star BNCAP rating, continues to lead momentum, while Sonet and Carens line-up remain steady volume drivers with continuous enhancements aligned to evolving customer needs.”
