Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift Variants Explained: What Each Variant Offers
The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift gets a new engine, more features and ADAS, but the key question for buyers is which variant offers the best mix of price and equipment. Here’s a simple variant-wise breakdown of the updated premium hatchback.
Maruti Suzuki has updated the Baleno for 2026 with a new petrol engine, additional features and advanced safety technology. The facelifted premium hatchback is available in five variants through the Nexa network, with prices starting at Rs 6.10 lakh (ex-showroom). While Maruti has announced the starting price, the complete variant-wise price list is yet to be revealed.
The biggest change is under the bonnet. The Baleno now gets Suzuki’s 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine, also seen in the latest Swift. It produces 82 PS and 112 Nm and is offered with a manual or AMT gearbox. A factory-fitted CNG option is also available on select variants.
