Renault Duster Scores 5-Star Safety Rating in Bharat NCAP Crash Tests
The Renault Duster has secured 5-star safety ratings in the latest Bharat NCAP crash tests. It scored 30.49 out of 32 points for Adult Occupant Protection and 45 out of 49 points for Child Occupant Protection.

Renault Duster Scores 5-Star Safety Rating in Bharat NCAP Crash Tests
The return of the Renault Duster in the Indian market has definitely hit the right notes. Now, it has come to light that the Duster has secured 5-star safety ratings in the recent Bharat NCAP crash tests. This result upholds the new Duster as a safe vehicle with top-notch safety ratings.
Renault Duster Bharat NCAP: Adult Occupant Protection
The crash test data shared on Bharat NCAP website for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) indicate that the new Duster has scored 30.49 out of 32 points. The Duster scored 14.49 out of 16 points in the frontal offset deformable barrier test. In the side movable deformable barrier test the Duster scored 16 out of 16 points. The new Duster also complied with side pole impact requirements.
Renault Duster Bharat NCAP: Child Occupant Protection
The crash test data shared on Bharat NCAP website indicates that the new Duster has scored 45 out of 49 points for Child Occupant Protection (COP). Here the Duster scored 24 out of 24 points in dynamic testing and 12 out of 12 points for CRS installation and 9 out of 13 points in Vehicle Assessment Score.
The Renault Duster comes equipped with safety features like - 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic parking brake, four-wheel disc brakes and Level 2 ADAS with multiple driver assistance functions.
The Renault Duster rivals the likes of Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, Tata Sierra, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and other compact SUVs in the Indian market.
