Kia has launched the 2026 Syros in India, starting from Rs 8.39 lakh. The latest iteration of the Syros features minor design updates, including enhanced bumpers, new alloy wheels, along with new color options.

The Indian wing of the South Korean automaker Kia has today launched the 2026 Syros in the country with a starting ex-showroom price tag of Rs 8.39 lakh. Earlier the Syros was priced from Rs 8.67 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2026 model year Syros has been introduced with an updated variant lineup, revised features list and new automatic trims.
2026 Kia Syros: Design
The 2026 Syros has received minor exterior changes like - revised front and rear bumpers with body-coloured aero inserts and updated skid plates. The side profile now features glossy black roof rails, ORVMs, and body-coloured side garnish. Higher trims get new 17-inch crystal-cut alloy wheels with neon brake calipers. Kia has also introduced new colour options such as Magma Red, Ivory Silver Matte and Ivory Silver Gloss.
2026 Kia Syros: Features
On the inside, the 2026 model year Syros continues with a feature-focused package. It includes a 30-inch Trinity panoramic display, connected car navigation cockpit, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front and rear seats. The second-row seats offer slide and recline functions with a 60:40 split. The SUV also gets over 80 connected car features with OTA updates and Kia Connect diagnostics.
2026 Kia Syros: Powertrain
The 2026 Syros continues with the existing engine options. These include a 1.0L turbo-petrol engine producing around 118.35bhp and 172Nm of torque, and a 1.5L diesel engine churning out 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed MT, 7-speed DCT for petrol and a 6-speed AT for diesel.
2026 Kia Syros: New Variants
Kia has updated the variant lineup of the Syros. The 2026 Syros gets new HTE, HTE(O), HTK+(O), and HTX(O) trims. With the addition of new trims the Syros lineup now boasts a total of seven variants. Sharing this update the automaker stated that the expansion of variants is aimed at improving access to features and offering more combinations for buyers.
A key update is the wider availability of the diesel automatic variant. It is now offered from the HTK+ trim onwards, priced from Rs 12.73 lakh (ex-showroom). This change expands automatic options for buyers opting for the diesel powertrain.

The 2026 Kia Syros petrol range starts from Rs 8.39 lakh and the diesel range starts from Rs 9.99 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom). Here is a detailed variant-wise price list of the 2026 Syros:

2026 Kia Syros: Safety
In terms of safety the 2026 Syros comes equipped with 6-airbags as standard, Level-2 ADAS, and the SUV also boasts 5-star BNCAP ratings.
