TVS Motor Re-Enters South Africa, Launches Seven Two-Wheeler Models

TVS Motor Company announced its re-entry into the South African market. The company has partnered with The Nexus Collective, a distributorship supported by Bidvest Group Limited, to manage operations and distribution in the country. With this move, TVS Motor Company will operate across multiple two-wheeler segments in South Africa through a single distribution partner.

The company stated that its international operations contributed around 25 percent of its total sales as of 2025. Africa accounts for more than half of its global operational revenue and nearly 70 percent of export volumes, according to company data. The South Africa expansion is part of its broader international growth strategy.

TVS Motor Company has introduced seven models in South Africa under different categories:

TVS Motor Company is a manufacturer of two- and three-wheelers with production facilities in India and Indonesia. It operates in over 90 countries.

The company’s group entities include Norton Motorcycles in the United Kingdom and Swiss E-Mobility Group (SEMG) and EGO Movement in the electric bicycle segment in Switzerland.
