Aston Martin DBX S, DB12 Volante And Vanquish Volante Set To Make Goodwood Debut
British legacy automaker, Aston Martin is set to showcase its high-performance sports cars at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, scheduled to run from July 10 to July 13, 2025. The DBX S, announced earlier this year, will make its Goodwood debut in the First Glance paddock. The SUV is powered by a 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine from the DBX707, delivering a 717.05 bhp and 900 Nm of torque.
Additionally, the Goodwood Festival of Speed will be a platform where the Aston Martin Valhalla will make the UK public debut. Having previously made its global dynamic debut at the Monaco F1 Grand Prix in May, driven by two-time Formula One World Champion Fernando Alonso, the mid-engine supercar, blends Formula 1 derived technologies with design, promising hypercar performance while maintaining road usability with only 999 units planned.
The Aston Martin’s road-legal hypercar, the Valkyrie, is set to return following its debut at Goodwood in 2021. Additionally, the Valkyrie serves as the inspiration for the new Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercar, which marks the brand's return to the Le Mans 24 Hour endurance race. The Valkyrie Hypercar, powered by a sensational 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine, will also make its debut on Goodwood hill.
Joining the Valhalla and Valkyrie in the Supercar Paddock are the DB12 Volante and Vanquish Volante, both making their Festival of Speed debut. These models commemorate 60 years since the introduction of the 'Volante' name.
Jolyon Nash, Aston Martin, Chief Commercial Officer, said, “The Goodwood Festival of Speed is the highlight of the speed season. Aston Martin continues to proudly play a part in this annual celebration of the automotive world and this year in particular, we are delighted to showcase Valhalla; our first mid-engine series production Aston Martin - a supercar with hypercar performance that combines unprecedented aerodynamics with F1 race-derived engineering and striking design.”
