It also supports Ather's extensive fast-charging network and offers a robust warranty, reflecting strong demand for the Rizta series.

The Ather Rizta Z, with its 3.7 kWh battery, offers a higher claimed range of 160 km compared to the TVS iQube ST's range. The Rizta also includes advanced features like skid control and Google Maps integration, while the iQube ST focuses on power and acceleration. However, the iQube ST has a larger charger that reduces charging time, making it more convenient for urban use.
The Rizta's achievement of over 1 lakh unit sales within a year reflects Ather Energy's growing market share and its successful penetration into family-oriented segments. This milestone indicates strong consumer demand and helps Ather expand its footprint in regions where it had limited presence before, enhancing its brand visibility and competitiveness in the electric scooter market.
Ather Energy provides the 'Eight70 Warranty' for its electric scooters, including the Rizta. This warranty covers the battery for up to 8 years or 80,000 km, guaranteeing a minimum of 70% battery health during that period. It aims to alleviate concerns about battery performance and replacement costs, which are significant factors for potential EV buyers.
The Ather Rizta features 34 litres of under-seat storage and an optional 22-litre frunk, making it one of the more spacious options in its category. This design focus on family usability contrasts with competitors like the TVS iQube, which may not emphasize storage to the same extent, thereby appealing more to urban commuters than families needing extra space.
Ather Energy plans to expand its retail network to 700 Experience Centres across India by FY26, nearly doubling its current count. This expansion is in response to the growing popularity of the Rizta scooter and aims to enhance accessibility for customers in both existing and new markets, particularly in Northern India where demand is increasing.
