Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 Delivered To First Customers In Germany

Mercedes-Benz Trucks has commenced deliveries of the eActros 600, an all-electric truck made for long-distance freight transport. The production of the eActross 600 began at the Worth plant in late November. The first batch of around 50 units will be delivered to customers in Germany by the end of the year.
The eActros 600s manufactured in the first few months after the start of series production will initially mostly go to branches and dealers as demonstration vehicles - as is usual when introducing new vehicle models. The decisive factor for the delivery of the vehicles this year is in particular the funding provided by the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport for customers within Germany.
The first customers to receive the eActros 600 this year include August Gschwander Transport GmbH, Blue Känguru GmbH, Brummer Logistik GmbH, Contargo GmbH & Co. KG, CONTRAIL-Transport GmbH & Co. KG, DENKINGER Internationale Spedition GmbH, Ralf Reyser Transporte & Logistik, SCHADE Logistic GmbH and Wessels Holding GmbH & Co. KG.

Key Specifications of the eActros 600

The eActros 600 is equipped with a battery capacity exceeding 600 kilowatt hours, that allows it to cover a range of 500 kilometers without charging under typical conditions for a 40-ton truck. With intermediate charging during mandatory breaks, the truck can achieve daily distances of over 1,000 kilometers. Future updates will include compatibility with megawatt charging systems for faster recharging.

Industry Recognition

Recently, the electric truck was named “International Truck of the Year 2025” by commercial vehicle journalists from 24 European countries – the award is the most important prize in the industry.
