Oben Electric Adds Bhubaneswar To National EV Retail Network

Oben Electric, an electric motorcycle manufacturer, has opened a showroom and service center in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This is the company’s first facility in Eastern India and increases its presence to 37 locations in 26 cities.

The Bhubaneswar outlet is part of a plan to set up over 100 showrooms and service centers across India by the end of 2025. Odisha has seen increased demand for electric vehicles due to state policies, tax benefits, and a shift toward alternative mobility.

The showroom is located in the central part of Bhubaneswar. It includes four separate zones focused on product interaction, component information, customer discussions, and display of accessories. The service center, branded as Oben Care, offers repair support, doorstep service, and roadside assistance.

Oben Electric designs and manufactures key components such as batteries, motors, control units, and chargers in-house. This allows standardization across outlets and availability of parts for service needs.

The Rorr EZ electric motorcycle is available in three battery configurations: 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh. The vehicle uses LFP battery technology and has an IDC-rated range of up to 175 km. It is priced from Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom). A gold coin will be provided to customers who buy the Rorr EZ from the Bhubaneswar showroom within the first month.
