Statiq, a company that operates electric vehicle charging networks, has set up a new public EV charging station at The Club Mumbai in Andheri West. The Club is a private members-only facility. This is the first time the club has added an EV-focused installation.

Charging Equipment Installed

The station includes one 60 kW DC fast charger with two CCS-2 connectors and three 22 kW BMW Wallbox units. These chargers are capable of serving various electric vehicles, including the BMW iX7 models already present on the property.
Akshit Bansal, Founder & CEO of Statiq, said, “The adoption of electric vehicles is not just a trend—it’s a necessary step in India’s clean energy transition. A strong, accessible EV charging infrastructure is the backbone of this shift. Our collaboration with The Club Mumbai is a step forward in bringing future-ready charging solutions to lifestyle destinations. By integrating sustainability with luxury, we hope to inspire more such partnerships that support the EV revolution.”

Access and Usage

While the charging facility is located within The Club Mumbai, it will be accessible to both club members and the wider public. The new setup is aimed at providing EV users in the area with another charging point in a central location.
Tushar Khanna, President and Chief Operating Officer, Khanna Hotels Pvt Ltd [KHPL], The Club Mumbai, said, “This is a proud moment for us as we take our first tangible step towards sustainability. We’re delighted to partner with Statiq and support EV adoption among our members and the wider community.
