Ather 450X Series: Features

Since its introduction, the Ather 450 series has been positioned as a performance-focused electric scooter. Over the years, Ather has continuously upgraded the lineup through software and hardware improvements to enhance ride quality and usability.
The scooter comes equipped with features including AutoHold, Magic Twist, and Multi Mode Traction Control, designed to make daily commuting easier and improve overall control.
Earlier, the company also introduced Infinite Cruise for the 450X and 450 Apex models launched from January 2025. The feature enables relaxed high-speed cruising, improved low-speed stability on uneven roads, and smoother performance on inclines and declines.
At the 2025 Ather Community Day, the company showcased the latest version of its software platform, Atherstack 7, which brings multiple connected technology upgrades to the 450 lineup.
One of the key additions is ‘Voice on Ather’, allowing riders to use voice commands for functions such as navigation, locating charging stations and adjusting display brightness. The feature is aimed at creating a more intuitive and hands-free riding experience.
The company has also expanded its connected ecosystem with the Halo smart helmet, which links the smartphone, scooter display and helmet to provide a premium audio experience without the need for traditional earphones.

New Safety Features and Faster Charging Introduced

With Atherstack 7, the 450 series also gains new safety-focused features. The CrashAlert system detects accidents and automatically sends alerts to emergency contacts, while ParkSafe notifies riders through the Ather app before parking in high-tow or theft-prone areas.
Another addition is LockSafe, which allows riders to remotely immobilise the scooter’s motor through the app, adding an extra layer of security when parked in open spaces.
Ather has also introduced a new 900W charger for the 450 range, which reduces charging time by nearly 30%, improving convenience for daily users.
