Kawasaki Z300 Debuts in India: Expected Launch Date, Price and More

Kawasaki has officially pulled the covers off its latest street-naked motorcycle, the Z300. Positioned as the new entry-level offering in the brand’s Z series, the bike was recently showcased at an event in Bangalore. The motorcycle adopts a design language heavily inspired by its larger sibling, the Z900, featuring an aggressive stance and a wide, upright single-piece handlebar designed for a more relaxed ergonomic profile.

Kawasaki Z300: Expected Launch Date, Bookings

The Kawasaki Z300 is expected to be launched in India on October 20th 2026. Bookings for the same are likely to commence from October 19.

Kawasaki Z300: Expected Powertrain

While the company is expected to release full technical specifications and pricing on its official website on October 20, early details suggest the Z300 shares its core platform with the faired Ninja 300. The motorcycle is anticipated to be powered by a 296cc parallel-twin engine, which is projected to deliver 38.4bhp and 26.1Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed transmission.

Kawasaki Z300: Expected Features

A significant departure from the Ninja 300 is the inclusion of a modern TFT instrument cluster, which supports smartphone connectivity, a feature absent on its faired counterpart. The Z300 is expected to be offered in two distinct color schemes: Green and Black. By omitting the extensive bodywork found on the Ninja 300, Kawasaki is positioning the Z300 to potentially enter the market at a price point below the Rs 3 lakh mark, offering a competitive alternative for riders seeking a naked streetfighter.

Kawasaki Z300: Expected Price

The Z300 is likely to be the streetfighter counterpart of the Ninja 300 which is priced at Rs 3.34 lakh (ex-showroom); so we anticipate the Z300 to be introduced with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 3.17 lakh.
