Piaggio Ape WavE Electric Three-Wheeler Launched in India at Rs 2.55 Lakh with up to 140 Km Range
Piaggio India has launched the Ape WavE, an electric three-wheeler priced at Rs 2.55 lakh. The Ape WavE features a 5.4 kWh battery, delivering 5.76bhp and 27Nm of torque, with a top speed of 40 kmph.

The Indian division of the Italian automaker Piaggio has launched a new electric three-wheeler in India. Piaggio India has introduced the Ape WavE electric three-wheeler in India priced at Rs 2.55 lakh (ex-showroom). With this launch the automaker has expanded its Ape passenger electric-three wheeler range to four models - Ape E-City SwaP, Ape E-City MAXX, Ape E-City Ultra and Ape WavE.

The Piaggio Ape WavE electric three-wheeler comes equipped with a 5.4 kWh battery pack. This electric three-wheeler generates a peak power output of 5.76bhp (4.3 kW) and 27Nm of torque.
The Piaggio Ape WavE measures 2,752mm in length, 1,370mm in width, 1,780mm in height and has a wheelbase spanning 1,920mm. It has a ground clearance of 225mm.
The Ape WavE electric three-wheeler has a top speed of 40 kmph and boasts a range of up to 140 km on a single charge. It also gets boost mode. The company claims that this electric three-wheeler has a charge time of 3 hours and 20 minutes.
The Ape WavE gets telematics with 4G connectivity, 12-inch tubeless tyres, large rear view mirrors, digital speedometer and has a gradability of 19.2 percent.
