TVS Motor, BMW Motorrad Cross 2 Lakh Production Mark Under Ongoing Partnership

TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad announced that they have produced 2 lakh units under their long-standing partnership. The collaboration started in 2013, focuses on developing and manufacturing sub-500cc motorcycles for global markets.

Over the years, the companies have expanded their joint work to include new platforms and technology development. The partnership covers research, product engineering and shared manufacturing.

Along with the milestone announcement, the companies confirmed the start of manufacturing for the BMW F 450 GS at TVS Motor’s Hosur plant. This marks the next phase of their cooperation as they build new products aimed at both domestic and international markets.

TVS Motor and BMW Motorrad stated that they are working together on future product lines and technologies to address changing needs in urban and premium mobility. Their joint efforts remain centred on expanding offerings within the sub-500cc category while developing new platforms for upcoming models.
